Free Bread while it lasts

08Jan10

I read today of the outrage of people who realized that WalMart and some other store I don’t know about, throw away unsold Items, even destroying them so they cannot be used.  These people somehow think that Retailers have an obligation to support the Utopian concept they have dreamed up in their childish liberal minds.  Obviously there is a reason that they did this.  Contracts with suppliers? Tax laws? Plain economic sense?  Even if these utopians can’t think of one.  They don’t even try, in fact because along with liberalism comes enormous arrogance.  If it isn’t right in their scope of things it is wrong globally.  I assure you that the retailers are not just sitting wringing their hands thinking of ways to keep the world unclothed.  You are but you are too stupid to notice.

Perhaps they will not contract with the manufacturer at current discount rates because of the high volume but order less and when they run out tough for you.  Less supply will means they need to charge more for these items to make a profit.  So, again, tough for you.  Because you thinks you should run companies without any investment or knowledge, you cause the price to go up, and the availability to go down.

If you think it is such a good idea to give away clothes why haven’t you done it yourself?  You have clothes.  Give them away!  You see Liberals don’t give their stuff away they want someone else to give it away at their expense.

Consider this; You are a consumer you can go to the store and buy clothes from a retailer who contacted to have them made, shipped, arranged in a huge store full of things you want for you, your home etc. with thousands of employees to stock them arrange them and provide a heated or cooled safe environment for you to shop, or would you rather wait til the clothes are free and just pick them up.  How long will a retailer stay in business doing this?

However none of this matters because none of this stuff is yours.  It all belongs to the Retailer or even the Manufacturer on consignment.  They paid for the material labor and all the hundreds of costs to market it.  It is none of your business what they do.  Nor is it the governments business.

So if you want Utopia, build it yourself you lazy moocher.  And Good luck with that.  Go live in a socialist country for a month you will see why they put up fences to keep the people in.  Continue on this socialist bent you are on, liberals and we will be waiting in line for bread that will be free for all the people in Utopia.  Look at history; it has happened over and over.
